Much Belated Art News

It's been seriously forever since I updated here, but for the 5 of you who read it, I am so sorry!  Here are some things I've participated in and new work to have surfaced:

Coming up...  I donated a bowling pin for the Brain Injury Alliance of Montana's (that's a mouthful) Bowl for Brain Strong fundraiser/silent auction.  This will take place tomorrow 11am-3pm at 5 Valley's Bowling.  I painted my favorite creature of the deep, an octopus; something just for giggles.  Hopefully it gets some bids!

Still Happenin'....   The Last Best Dream: Surrealism Here and Now at Radius Gallery

This is a kick-ass exhibit (and not just because I got to be apart of it)!  16 wonderful MT surrealists all together under one roof is nothing to sneeze at.  The show is in its last few weeks, ending April 16th, so hurry, hurry if you haven't seen it yet!

The three pieces that are featured (left - right):  "Stonemilker",  "A View with a View", and "Kilingi"

Just Happened...     ZACC 4th Annual Mini Benefit Show & Fundraiser

Another donation, this one to the ZACC fundraiser silent auction, which was a helluva good time!  20's themed party in the Wilma with excellent food and fun, and all the art you could ever dream of.  I think it was a huge success, and will keep this awesome arts community center rollin another year.

The piece I auctioned off for the ZACC:

"Where the Wildflowers Grow"

We'll see...   And here's a t-shirt design I submitted for Runner's Edge t-shirt contest.  Mostly did this because the winner gets to pick a nonprofit where $5 of every tshirt sold goes, and that would be a nice little boost for our nonprofit E3 Gallery.  (If you haven't been in to our gallery, please visit!  My blood and tears have gone into it, jk, but not really: E3 Gallery )

And last...   here's the latest painting I finished for my personal body of work:

"Purge"  acrylic ink & pen on wood,  $400
